• I was not for Kerry but we must know that Bush is more liberal than the democrats - read his record so far - there is much more to come, I am sure!  I just enjoyed watching the newscasters and women reporters squirm through this election!

• Peace is always in the news - and flatteries...  Daniel 11:21  And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
• Kids are in serious rebellion (more than long hair and smoking, etc. - some serious demonic stuff! - their minds are going!  Music is their bridge to the god of this world!
• Blindness - spiritually AND mentally is deeper than ever - the light has been taken away without folks even knowing it!
• Children are the last targets - and the parents are even giving them over to the world!  Psalm 106:37-39 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,  And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.  Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
• Mothers have given themselves over to an unnatural love!
• Fathers don't even know how to father let alone have the energy to do so - most don't even have the desire to even try to learn about being a Biblical father!
• Final authority in America is money!
• Animals get more respect and rights than to humans!
• Schools teach perversions and anti-God materials!
• Boys are becoming girls and girls are becoming boys - thus Jeremiah is applicable today:  Jeremiah 50:37  A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.

Apostasy is rampant in the "local churches" and Christianity!

• modern church descriptions are amazing to read
• attendance IS increasing, but... (they see gain as godliness - I Timothy 6:5,6  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.  But godliness with contentment is great gain.
• Churches are boasting of themselves in order to 'change people's lives - Ephesians 2:8,9  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.  But souls are not being changed - they are all imitations only!
• Churches are true representatives of Revelation 3:14-18; Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:   I Timothy 6:10 - they truly are erring from the faith, the people continue to pierce themselves through with many sorrows!
• there is more and more a famine of hearing God's words!  Amos 8:11-13
• people claim to 'hear God's voice" but ignore & reject God's very words!
• Lives ARE being changed, but souls are NOT!
• Christ longs for fellowship from His bride to be!  (Revelation 3:20)
• Children are now the targets in the churches!

• we can still strive to have personal victories - family victories
• we can still strive to grow
• we can still strive to preach and teach the Book!
• we can still strive to have a better walk!
• we can still strive to show God our love towards Him!
• we can still strive to do our kids right!
• we can still strive to more abundantly love others...
• and yet, we can still be loved even less!
• and... we can still be called the enemy more and more...
• and... we can still suffer even more persecution!

Yes, the image of an uncorruptible God continues to be changed into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
Yes, the truth of God continues to be changed into a lie
Yes, more and more people continue to worship the creature more than the Creator
Yes, more and more women are changing the natural used into that which is against nature - and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the women... burn in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet (AIDS - GRIDS).
Yes, more and more people continue to have pleasure in doing those things that are worthy of death and defy the judgment of God!

At Salvation
II Corinthians 3:18  But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

II Corinthians 5:21 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Rapture
I Corinthians 15:51,52   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Finally
Philippians 3:20,21  For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:  Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Our charity towards the brethren should change - I Thessalonians 1:3b
Our 'grace' should change - II Peter 3:18a
Our knowledge of Jesus Christ should change - II Peter 3:18b
Our closeness with Jesus Christ should change - Ephesians 4:15
Our joy should change - John 15:11; 17:13

As did America, the local church may be going apostasy, but the body of Christ can continue to grow - Ephesians 5:27   That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
