The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and study Paul's writings to apply the 'TO!"

Issues and Disputings
in 2009
|
More and more moral and religious issues are developing - more and more
Christians appear to be making some effort to battle those issues.
-
Holidays
-
Christmas - the great yearly battle for Christians
-
Do it or don't do it?
-
Fighting to put Christ 'back into' Christmas?
-
Public displays of religious 'stuff?'
-
The 'fear' of losing Christmas entirely in America by laws and Islamic
and atheistic rejection, etc. and being replaced by other religions, including
humanism and atheism, etc.
-
Easter and all the other 'religious' aspect of holidays
-
Abortion
-
Ten Commandments
-
Public Displays?
-
All ten or just the nine that Paul preaches?
-
What about the laws in Leviticus, Deuteronomy, etc.?
-
Images of Jesus
-
Praying in Jesus name
-
Inaugural prayers by Rick Warren
-
Personalities in the public and the great numbers of people they recruit
-
Rick Warren
-
Joel Osteen
-
long list and growing...
-
Perversions being forced onto our children in schools, etc.
-
The coming
-
'miracles'
-
'signs'
-
'lying wonders'
Following Paul should solve the question of our involvement or not...
-
Avoid, Withdraw, not give heed, reject, have
no company with, purge, do not partake, rebuke, not strive, cast off, mark,
shun.
-
But do you what / who it is that you are to avoid,
etc.?
Peace should still be on us - even in 2009!
Galatians 6:14-16 - But
God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ
Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but
a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on
them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. From henceforth let no man
trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. Brethren,
the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
Two groups fighting each other
-
A. Lost
-
Atheists
-
Hateful
-
Unreasonable and wicked men with no faith
-
Following the vanity of their mind
-
ever learning, but never...
-
running to and fro...
-
knowledge increasing...
-
Gain proves them right - to themselves...
-
Politicians
-
Lawyers
-
Relatives
-
Perverts
-
B. Modern American Christian
-
Those who have received another Jesus, Spirit and Gospel
-
Let the Bible identify who they are and describe them in close detail:
-
I Timothy 6:4-5
-
II Timothy 3:1-8
-
II Timothy 3:13
-
Titus 1:9-14
-
Galatians 6:12-13
-
Ephesians 4:17-21
-
No KJB, no Paul following and rightly dividing
-
Gain is godliness to them as well
-
Following profane and vain babblings, etc.
-
I Timothy 6:20
-
II Timothy 2:15,16
-
Philippians 3:17-20
Key verse: I Timothy 6:5 -
Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds,
and destitute of the truth...
-
That verse fits both groups!
We should join neither group!
-
Not to get involved?
-
Not be be concerned?
-
Not to be entangled?
-
Can we do anything about it?
-
Both sides are WRONG, so why do we think we can fix things?
Does the 'new man' get involved?
Colossians 3:5-10
II Timothy 2:24-26
Titus 3:2-4
II Thessalonians 1:3
Romans 14
Would our involvement contribute to I Timothy
2:1,2?
Would our involvement do Colossians 1:10?
Godliness IS PROFITABLE!
-
I Timothy 4:8
-
Define godliness: I Timothy 3:10
Would this possibly be part of 'suffering for his sake?"
We have the liberty, but...
-
Do you even know the 5 strings attached?
-
The same 'strings' should be applied to America's freedom!
