The other victim that is left to be rescued is Us!
Ourself!
We will either be the last to crumble!
or
the first to be rescued!!!
I Cor 10:13 -
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but
God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are
able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may
be able to bear it.
Rom 5:3-5 -
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation
worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope
maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts
by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
James 1:2-4
- My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience
have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Rom 8::28
- And we know that all things work together for good to them that
love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Ephesians 6 -
the Armour of God - Wear it and use it!
loins girt about with truth,
breastplate of righteousness;
feet shod with the preparation
of the gospel of peace;
the shield of faith,
the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God:
Jer:48:10: ... cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.
Such common verses to so many Christians, BUT THEY DON'T WEAR THE
ARMOUR!
PERHAPS THEY DON'T WANT TO GO TO WAR?
Ps 51:4: Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight
God had warned them earlier not to forget Him!
Deut:4:9 Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
Deut:4:23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.
Deut:6:12 Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Deut:8:11 Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:
Deut:8:19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.
Deut:9:7 Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.
Today, we should not forget Him, either! - Prov 3:1; 4:5; 31:1-5
Praise the Lord for our mediator - our advocate - our intercessor!
1Tm:2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Heb:9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
1Jn:2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
Rom:8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
Rom:8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Rom:8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
But we still reap what we sow...
So Wednesday night material on I John is very important regarding confession!

Hebrews :12
Wherefore seeing we also
are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses,
let us lay aside every weight,
and the sin which doth so easily beset us,
and let us run with patience
the race that is set before us,
(mix with the world, TV, videos, activities IN the world, schools, psychology, close friends of the world, bible versions, music (good and bad), styles, material desires, debt, worldly standards, staying away from church, not reading your bible, prayerlessness, nakedness, laziness -slothfulness, overeating, over-shopping, over-spending, anger, bad temper, soft & sensitive feelings, easily hurt & offended, selfishness, flesh, lust of the eyes, the pride of life)
Let a man examine himself!
Judge It As Sin!
Confess It!
