Right - Even though Paul was not ever married, I gotta tell ya, he gives
us some great marriage material here
along with great stuff for fathers as well as pastors.
Ever heard the old adage, "If you are not married and if you don't have
children so how can you preach?"
Well here is how - Follow Paul's examples and preach it the way Paul did!
I tell ya, ain't that Book something!!!!!!!!!!
I know none of us will truly reach a perfect marriage until the Groom Himself comes for His bride, but here are some examples for us to consider as I challenge you to evaluate your own personal part in your relationship with Jesus Christ AND in your own marriage.
The audio versions definitely have some things said in
them that are not in the written text format.
I encourage you to be patient and be sure to listen to the
audio versions of these sermons when they become available!

Now that we looked at how a husband and wife should not only have a good "master / servant relationship," we can see here that a good "friendship" must also exist between husband and wife. You can have a great "master/servant" relationship and still not be friends - maybe that is why more and more marriages are still "on the rocks,"- because it is not based on the ROCK! |
