Benefits from Following Paul Physically
Will
Not Err From the Faith
Always a possibility
for us all!
There are
more and more "Christians" that are:
erring from
...
departing
from ...
err concerning
...
putting their
faith away...
...and
they are all headed for or have already ended up in shipwrecks!
-
IF
-
If ye
continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from
the hope of the gospel,
which
ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under
heaven;
whereof
I Paul am made a minister;
Colossians
1:23
and then read
all of 1:19-29!
I am realizing
more and more that Paul is 'into' works more than we realize - or want
to realize!
It is just
that he has a different motive!
It
is Possible!
-
Paul truly wants
and expects us to live right - live a life that is pleasing to God and
a life of righteousness in 'our' walk, not just claiming His!
-
It is "possible!"
-
However, that
is why we have the judgment seat of Christ to clean up the works we did
wrong - of what "sort" they were!
-
I Corinthians
3:10 - he is our wise masterbuilder
-
I Corinthians
3:13 of what sort it is!
What
'sort it is' would be PAUL's teachings!

His doctrine,
manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience
(II Timothy 3:10)

Those things,
which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do.
(Philippians 4:9)

His ways which
be in Christ, as he taught every where in every church. (I
Corinthians 4:17)

Paul is our masterbuilder!

People keep hanging
around the foundation trying to be like Him.

They think they
need to be his image today!

Thus we have the
reason folks are taught the gospels for their walk!

It is not about losing faith concerning salvation!
We are trusting
(our faith) in 'his faith!

we can still err in:

judgment

discernment
-
discrimination
-
our markings of
others

appearance

words

choices

walk

testimony &
profession

doctrinal position

doctrinal application
But
that would still be OUR CHOICE!

not study
-
not take heed
-
not giving attendance
to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

not rightly dividing

not enduring hardness
-
by giving yourselves
over to lasciviousness

- by walking as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind!

That
makes us:

Hypocrites

Suffer consequences
of our actions; not God's chastisement - those verses for TO the saints
in the Tribulation!

These battles
of faith can make us:

want to quit!

want to give up!

and enjoy doing
so!

We shouldn't:

buy something
we know we don't need!

we know we shouldn't wear!

watch something
we know we shouldn't watch!

want something
we know we shouldn't want!

go back to past
life - even in thought - now that we know we were

without God

aliens from the
commonwealth of Israel

strangers from
the covenants of promise
-
having no hope
-
living in the
lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind;
and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

walking according
to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the
air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

To Stay in the Faith
II Thessalonians
3:1-5!
Finally,
brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course,
and
be glorified, even as it is with you:
And that
we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men:
for
all men have not faith.
But the
Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
And we
have confidence in the Lord touching you,
that
ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
And the
Lord direct your hearts into the love of God,
and
into the patient waiting for Christ.

these men from whom we should be delivered?

We
must fully know Paul!

manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
If
we do, we won't err from the faith!
WE
can even RECOVER from a shipwrecked life!
II Timothy

But
it is still always our Choice!
