Review of Acts 1-8 |
This is a list of things that we observed as we read through Acts
chapters 1-8. These are things that we see were to the Jews,
NOT to the Gentiles, so to claim them today is to claim a false gospel
for today. Many of these things listed below are part of the pentecostal
doctrine today as well as the modern Purpose Driven, ALPHA, CCM, etc. doctrine.
In fact, note Luke 24:47. This is NOT the gospel that we are to preach today. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Then we looked at Matthew 28:16-20 and Mark 16:15-20 to read about the commission given to the apostles to take to all the world. But remember, they didn't make it past chapter 8, then Christ had to go to Paul to be the apostle to the Gentiles - the Jews had blown their commission!
