Hardened
Hearts Today
Does God harden our hearts
today? Who is it that can have hard hearts? Is Hebrews
3:13 a verse that we need to be concerned about? What
is it that hardens our heart then, if it isn't God? How do we soften
our hearts today? |

What's
In It For Us?
Part
XXXIX
Jeremiah
Yesterday,
His Word Stood against them for evil!
God's
judgment on His people was severe; and while we do not have to fear that
judgment upon us, we can surely learn from Jeremiah again. See an
example of foxhole promises and God's response. See how Azariah's
response to Jeremiah is similar to our response today to what the preacher
preaches or at least what the Book says.
Then
see that is all for a sign to His people. That they may know that
my words shall surely stand against you for evil. But remember, these
words of warning are NOT TO US TODAY. See the a.m. sermon on what
is TO US TODAY. |

Today,
His Word Stands For Us For Good
Romans
5:8-7:9
Part
I
There are few notes available
for this sermon. This was one of the hardest sermons I have ever
delivered - with medical issues going on in my life, I have taken on the
'panic' that sometimes comes - and this is what I read to 'ease' that panic.
It is about sin - and how God has taken care of it 'for us' for
our good, as compared to the Sunday School lesson on God's word standing
against the OT folks for evil.
I have tried to eliminate
the tears and sniffles in the sermon, but just got tired of it about the
middle of the sermon, so I do apologize for those sniffles. Oh, and
P.S. Don't mix up the 'for us' in this sermon with what we
say when it comes to what words are for us or to us in the Bible.
I hope you see the proper application in this sermon. |

His Word Stands
For Us For Good!
What
Shall We Say to These Things
Part I
Here are questions that
Paul asks in the Book of Romans - and of course, are answered either immediately
by Paul or can be found throughout his Epistles. None of these questions
can be answered fully from the Gospels or the Tibulational Books. |

What's
In It For Us?
Part
XL
Lamentations
of Jeremiah
We
do a short conclusion to the Book of Jeremiah and then just segue into
Lamentations. We basically read of the 'feelings' that Jeremiah had
toward his people and the destruction that he saw. We can read of
that destruction in detail. What's in that for us? How
do you feel because of the attack and disaster of the King James Bible,
Rightly Dividing, Paul's teachings, etc. in our churches today? God's
people did not learn the lessons they were to learn, but we can learn from
Jeremiah! |

His Word Stands

Paul
the Persuader, Not the Crusader
Paul did not go on a crusade,
but he did try to persuade folks. This sermon will show you what
Paul was persuaded himself, what we should be persuaded with and how we
should persuade others. The Old Testament and Gospel message is being
done today as a crusade - and it is not what God is asking us to do. |

From Paul to Timothy to Us
Four
Child Killer Verses
This is a sensitive sermon
- and I will be first to admit I didn't deliver it well. However,
if you still want to listen to it, I have edited it so the sensitive stuff
is 'gone,' I hope. The 4 dangers in the home that I talk about are:
1) A Spiritually Weak Father; 2) An Immodest Mother; 3) A Loud Mother;
4) An Authoritative Mother. The reference verses are from I
Timothy 2:8-12. |

His Word Stands
For Us For Good!
What
Shall We Say to These Things
Part II
With all the dispensational
confusion going on today, let's look at a few questions that are NOT TO
us today. Knowing about Paul's teachings will answer these questions
quickly and will also show that these are not questions that concern us.
We look into the Book of Matthew, one of the few books that if any modern
Christian tries to read their Bible, they may make it through Matthew,
anyway. Most of Jesus' teachings come from Matthew, so we may
as look at this book for a few examples of questions being misapplied today! |

What's
In It For Us?
Part XLI
Introduction
to Ezekiel
We
are now going to spend a few Sundays looking Ezekiel, the Book and Ezekiel
the man - for the purpose of finding out what purpose would Ezekiel have
in our lives today. We basically read through the first 3 chapters
and discussed some of the interesting verses. I also encourage the
parents to sit down with their kids and read through chapter one to help
them 'picture' what Ezekiel saw. Don't show them any drawings or
sketches by anyone else - just help them 'comprehend' words to show them
thoughts and pictures of what is being portrayed with those written words.

Turn
To, Not Just Toward
Part I
Since I last preaching
on 'The Great Turn,' just how much have any of us turned? From what
should we have been turning from and unto what are we to turn unto?
And if someone in the church family continues to 'choose' the wrong turn,
should the pastor just 'preach the word' and not be concerned about those
wrong choices that folks continue to make these days? Once again,
we can learn from Paul's own personal example on just how much he cared
for his people even though he did say to preach the word, he also couldn't
let them make the wrong choices with shedding his own tears. |

What can the damage be
when someone doesn't make the turns we are told to make? What can
happen to us and/or our children when we continue with what we should not
be doing? |

Without
Wrath
I
TImothy 2:8
For men AND women, we
see that we are to be without wrath and doubting. Ok, so with that
in mind, here is a sermon that asks each one of us, "What does Paul teach
/ preach that would actually cause us to have wrath?" |

Part XLII
More
of Ezekiel
Learn
from Ezekiel's personal commission from God. We emphasize that Ezekiel
was their sign then we review what purpose 'signs' are today - NONE!
However, we see more and more preachers preaching about 'signs' and wonders
- and we all know what is going on with that, don't we! Also, we
talk a little about today's common excuse of blaming one's parents for
them being the way they are today. See what God says about that excuse
through Ezekiel and Paul. We also see what Ezekiel says about a 'just'
man. |

From
Reveling to Rejoicing!
Rejoiceth
not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth!
I
Corinthians 13:6
More and more Christians
are living like the world these days, which goes against the Scriptures
- against Paul's preachings and teachings, etc. Sad to say but the
ones who suffer the most from this trend will be our children who are watching
Christians adults act like children. Reveling and partying... the
ways of the world. So, when Christians get together, is reveling still
an ok thing? Watch and be sober, Paul says. What does that
mean? Why are more and more Christians wanting to revel like the
world? |
