How To Understand the King James 1611 Bible
#1 - Scriptures

This is a teaching class consisting of discussion and review of all the verses that will help anyone develop a simple understanding of the King James Bible.  The entrance of his words gives understanding to the simple.  It is the scholar and professor that is not able to understand the King James Bible.  Come join us - and be sure to bring your kids.  They also can learn how to understand a King James Bible!  - Pastor Mike Paulson

We will be taking our time - taking notes - taking quizzes and having general discussions about these verses.  My hope is that we can actually 'learn' these verses - not just learn from them or just learn from hearing them.  Let's learn the verses themselves and learn where they are located so we can show others how this Bible works - and how SIMPLE it is to understand a King James 1611 Bible.

Tonight, we reviewed the verses we discussed in part 1 from this morning's class session.
We then added a few more verses in our discussion of the words of God / Word of God..
Then we discussed the differences in all the bible 'versions' when it comes to II Timothy 2:15,16.  We saw the emphasis being put on 'works' and just how serious the differences are between all the versions.

The most important observation is that the King James Bible is the only Bible that tells us to rightly divide the word of truth.  That verse is the key verse when it comes to understanding that ole KJB!  New versions only confuse people and take away their understanding!

Only One Bible teaches Rightly Dividing!
II Timothy 2:15,16

Message Concentrate on doing your best for God, work you won't be ashamed of... laying out the truth plain and simple... Stay clear of pious talk. Words are not mere words, you know. If they are not backed by a godly life, they accumulate as poison in the soul.

NLT Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval.  Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. Avoid worthless, foolish talk... ...that only leads to more godless behavior.

The entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
We learn from the "For" and we try to apply the 'TO!"
